Bellus is the pioneer in manufacturing Encaustic Cement Tiles in Sri Lanka and has established a new standard in eco friendly building & construction industry of the country. As a Quality conscious organization, we understand and meet the requirements of our customers, suppliers, and employees; continually improve our processes and services, conform to regulatory requirements and applicable international standard. In terms of manufacturing quality, we source the raw materials from reliable local suppliers and reputed international suppliers especially for mineral –based color pigments which are the main resources for the product quality.

Raw materials are mixed keeping international quality standards through hydraulically operated machines. The modern electric-powered hydraulic presses produce a consistently higher quality and durable product. The trained & experienced local craftsmen transform a piece of plain tile into a piece of Art. All the produced are checked and tested based on by batches to ensure the quality of the end product

Bellus believes in the sustainability of the future and take great measures to ensure that not only our products have great sustainable credentials but our operating practices are also as environmentally friendly as they can be.

All the main raw materials used in the tiles are eco friendly, natural materials sourced locally and from the reputed international suppliers.

We ensure the manufacturing process does not harm the environment in terms of noise or residuals of the manufacturing. All the residuals are recycled and reused in the manufacturing process as a result the process has zero waste or environmental impact.
